Daughter of The Star Breather
Hi World! I'm Sonja and I can't tell you how excited I am that you're here! I started this site several years ago when I embarked on my creative writing adventure. At the time I was still at university and had a crazy reading habit taking over my life. During a visit home, and in the belly of our kitchen, my mom planted a seed. We were discussing a book I had just finished and of course I shared my frustration that I had to wait a whole year for the next in the series to be released. Mom only took a moment and simply suggested that I write my own book. And on May 21, 2010, after some time thinking it over and a loving push from my best friend, my writing took flight!
Since then a ton of life has happened, and while I still have a heart for 'Moonstruck', that project is on hold for the time being. I've been immersed in the Bookstagram community for almost a year now and thought it was time to get back to writing. So here is where I will be sharing book reviews and all things bookish! Check back later this month for my first review posting and until then, have a look around and Be Blessed!

I would hurl words into this darkness and wait for an echo, and if an echo sounded, no matter how faintly, I would send other words to tell, to march, to fight, to create a sense of hunger for life that gnaws in us all. -Richard Wright, American Hunger, 1977
